Yes, working with her was a blast. She went for her bits when we were recording WWRY for the Pepsi people, and did about 5 takes straight off, and ALL of all the takes were perfectly useable. Not just useable ... great !! The perfect performer.
She's a sensational singer - and a woman of courage and integrity. She cannot be bought with carrots or sticks. She is her own person. After reading your message, I found a fragment of The Lady doing Bo Rap [HERE] on Youtube of course, that naughty illicit organ which takes away any privacy and uniqueness from our moments on stage. I say this, but of course I am a part of the greedy public which gets what it wants, or what it deserves. I get to see a lot of great stuff on Youtube, and it's now become part of my education. What a strange world it is.
But, as Freddie would say (and frequently did), Talent will Out. Pink is full of it. Bless her. I hope I bump into her again some day.
