[Brian was asked for thoughts on Jimmy Page closing the ceremony in Beijing and whether another Palace Roof performancce might be in order for 2012 Olympics.]
Buckingham Palace Roof? Well, I don't think I will be doing THAT again! Once in a lifetime is quite enough!
But who knows what might happen! I thought Jimmy and Leona came across well. And the "Remembrance Tower" was something quite unforgettable. Those guys sure know how to put on a show
Of course I was VERY proud of our boys and girls from We Will Rock You, opening up the Olympic Handover show in London. I thought Ricardo's performance was actually stupendous ... I wonder how many people realise just how brilliant that bit of totally live singing from him was, under those high pressure (and let's be honest, pretty cheesy) conditions. I thought he shone out like a beacon, and Freddie would have been well proud ...
